Avigilon high definition license plate recognition is a new, fully integrated application module for the company’s Avigilon Control Center HD surveillance software that leverages image quality to provide single and multi-lane LPR with HD accuracy from a single camera. Flexible post-incident search combined with on-screen and e-mail alerts from watch lists make license plate recognition a powerful and easy to use enterprise LPR solution. As a fully integrated component of a complete HD surveillance system, the specialized application is simpler and easier to install and use than other LPR offerings. Also from the firm: an automatic infrared (IR) filter technology-based high definition IP color day/night camera. The new cameras incorporate IR filters that are automatically calibrated based on light conditions making the cameras ideal for day or night surveillance as well as infrared illumination.
