Thanks to layoffs, especially in tech companies, more disgruntled employees are taking out their anger by booby-trapping their company's computers or stealing trade secrets. Computer crimes are growing and losses are mounting, according to a survey of 538 companies, universities and government agencies by the San Francisco-based Computer Security Institute and the FBI. Eighty-five percent of respondents said networks were hacked in the previous year. The 186 respondents estimated total losses at $378 million.
