From International Fiber Systems IFS, the Orion virtual matrix switch fiber optic video transmission system is a multi-input or output switch that’s a cost-effective platform for video, audio and data communications. The system uses MPEG-2 compression and each video input and output module provides full support for high quality audio, bi-directional data and two contact closures that can be used for voice, PTZ control and alarm signal inputs.
