MoreMay 20 is the deadline for the Matthew Simeone ASIS Award for Public Private Partnership Excellence, which recognizes outstanding achievement by members of an ASIS chapter in the advocacy, development, implementation and practice of public private cooperation for public safety. Commencing in 2011, the award showcases an ASIS chapter’s law enforcement - private security partnership to address crime prevention, antiterrorism, public safety issues and other difficult challenges.
The award will be presented to the winning ASIS chapter-nominated P3 between a full-service law enforcement agency and a private organization that demonstrably improves public safety and private security.
The award presentation will be on Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at the 57th ASIS Annual Seminar in Orlando, Fla.
