The Security Executive Council is pleased to announce that Managing Director Bob Hayes will keynote the upcoming Great Conversation event in Seattle.

The Great Conversation grew out of the ASG Security Summit & Expo, a forum where physical and logical security leaders share their insights on emerging trends, benchmark and influence security solutions, and network with their peers to improve the strategic value of security in their organization. In 2010, the Summit expanded into The Great Conversation—a global online broadcast of the main stage events, a series of virtual breakout sessions, and ongoing conversations on the ASG Security Blog—to allow more security stakeholders to share their ideas with other attendees, presenters, sponsors and key partners.

“This event is unique in involving leaders from all of the industry elements—practitioners, integrators, manufacturers, and consultants,” says Hayes. “It’s time for the security industry to move beyond the current fragmented model of builder-seller-buyer. Security leaders who want to see security advance to the next phase of innovation and value generation need to start an honest dialogue with integrators and manufacturers to share their needs, ideas, and aspirations for security solutions.

“This industry-wide leadership communication is something the Security Executive Council has advocated since its beginning,” Hayes continues. “We believe in this concept and we are excited to be a part of it.” Hayes’ speech, Forging the Path to 2020,” will make the business case for Collective Knowledge in a trusted Great Conversation community.

Event registration is $20 in advance; $30 at the door. Register at www.aronsonsecurity.com/summit/. Participants may also register to view the online broadcast of summit events at www.aronsonsecurity.com/online-registration/.
