From International Fiber Systems Incorporated, the D7100 Ethernet Transceivers can transmit either 10Mps or 100Mbps Ethernet data over multi-mode or single-mode optical fiber. Use for point-to-point transmission in systems using the Ethernet packet data protocol. Within an existing network or in facilities where no existing Ethernet cabling exists. Effective range of up to 1.2 miles.
